Maddy's school does special things with the parents throughout the year. With the Dads they do a special Dads and Donuts day. Lance was home all week the week before with all the illnesses we had and Maddy going to the ER that he wasn't able to take the time off to attend so we sent the next best person in his place. Papaw. Maddy was thrilled to have Papaw go with her. They are very close so I know that he enjoyed it as well. He didn't mind going into work late that day. He told me he would have worked until midnight if he had to just so he could go with her. She is a lucky little girl to have so many people love her! Lance was bummed he couldn't go and I know she missed Daddy but I am glad she had Papaw!
