Last night my family and I took the girls on the Santa Express. It is the Royal Gorge Railroad Route that they transform into the North Pole at Christmas. The girls got to wear their pajamas and slippers as we rode the train. My nephew Sam wore his as well. The conductors were so energetic getting the kids pumped up for all teh events. The girls got to enjoy hot chocolate and cookies while we were on our way to the North Pole. The looks on the girls faces was priceless. When they saw the lights of the North Pole up ahead they got so excited. When we pulled up Santa was standing there waving to all the kids. He then got on the train and came up to every kid and asked what they wanted and gave them a special bell from him. Maddy later told me that it was a bell from his sleigh. Her favortie Christmas book is the Polar Express and last night we were really riding on it!!! The best part of it all was the joy in my precious babies faces. That is all I needed. :-)
